Overview:
If you don't want to install the
very bloated RealPlayer, you can use
a program that is called Real Alternative. It installs the RealMedia codecs on
your system so you'll be able to play them using a clean/free application
like
Media Player Classic for playing the RealMedia files. The bloated
RealPlayer is packed with crap that you'll never want and involves several
potential privacy issues so I thought I'd show you an alternative ;)
Files supported include but not limited to .ra .rpm .rm .ram .rmvb .rt .rp
The package contains Media Player Classic which is my favorite
player for video's since it has such a small footprint and simplistic use.
This program includes the player and RealMedia Codecs which are used to play
RealMedia encoded files.
What more can I say about this? Just start using it already ;)
